This recommendable Markneukirchen violin was built in 1937 the workshop of Heinrich Paul Theodor Heberlein, the last master luthier of the Markneukirchen Heberlein dynasty, a long line of eminent violin-makers in Markneukirchen.This violin was built with great care and exquisite workmanship, down to the last detail. Very evenly grained spruce was selected for the top and flamed maple for the back—premium wood for optimal visual aesthetics and sound, beautifully enhanced by a light, transparent oil varnish that shows expressive traces from playing. The voice of this exceptional violin in the price range is well-balanced, mature, warm, with a mellow note and highly resonant.
