The Neuner & Hornsteiner workshop was an important part of German violin making in the 19th century. Matthias Neuner was at one point of time the mayor of Mittenwald which developed into the violin making capital.
This violin possesses a rare sweetness, in addition to its sheer and ample power, which makes it perfect for solo work. It is also an ideal instrument for young, gifted players or conservatory musicians with small hands.
